The event began with an introduction to the speakers. Next Rahul Ramakrishnan began by explaining how to select a topic for a project and what are field surveys, market surveys and literature surveys. Then he spoke of the format for drafting a paper once the hardware or software implementation is done. He spoke of how to find conferences and the procedure for applying for publication in conferences. Then he explained the procedure to apply for publication from the college. Then Shambhavi Rege took the question and answer session where she answered a wide range of questions from how to choose a project to the types of softwares that can be used. Finally both Rahul and Shambhavi spoke about their own papers and briefly explained the experience of doing projects. All in all it was a very useful event and it was appreciated by all who attended.
