On 25th January, Friday , SPIT stood witness to one of the best technical conventions Open Infra Meet Open Stack organised by IEEE-SPIT sponsored by GIT-hub.

Project Innovation Challenge
Convening the unorthodox inventors and problem solvers of today, IEEE, SPIT organized the Project Innovation Challenge from 8th – 18th October, 2018 which involved building of prototype by teams.

IEEE-SPIT organised a talk for the students on cloud computing and it's application in real world by the Amazon Web Services Certified Instructor for AWS Academy Mr. Pranav Phadke.
IEEE-SPIT organizes A monsoon trek for SPIT students every year in the month of August as a refreshment and adventure leaving study pressure behind for a day.
Competitive Coding Workshop
To give the FEs a head start like no other. The workshop organised as a part of the celebration of IEEE day( October 2nd ) was hosted by one of our own seniors Tej Thakkar, who has ranked first in Mumbai in ACM ICPC 2017.
IEEEXtreme is a global challenge in which teams of IEEE Student members—advised and proctored by an IEEE member, and often supported by an IEEE Student Branch—compete in a 24-hour time span against each other to solve a set of programming problems.
